Position Details

SUMMARY OF POSITION
An Install Specialist largely performs an installation and integration role while participating in the installation phase of a project. This position will require no less than 60% travel including occasional weekends. A successful candidate will have an experienced mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work at height in lifts. You will be expected to work efficiently, lead volunteers, assist in preparing for deployments, and instinctively want to do and say the right thing even if it costs us something. You need to be organized, be able to handle repetitive tasks, and be a team player to achieve success in this role.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete project execution tasks including but not limited to rigging, pulling cable, terminating, installing AVL equipment, and leading volunteers
  • Prepare for projects by assembling tool kits, gathering hardware and installation materials, and studying installation drawings
  • Act as an ambassador for HouseRight and live into our values of Flexibility, Integrity, Commitment, Respect, Care, and Humility

SKILLS, TRAITS, or TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills/experiences:

  • You have to be awesome with 3+ Years of work experience
  • You have to want to see the Church succeed and improve
  • AVL knowledge is a plus
  • Familiar with assorted power and hand tools
  • Ability to read a plan set
  • Highly organized and self-managed
  • Ability to lift 75 pound loads
    Able to work extended hours
  • Flexibility

TIME, LOCATION, COMPENSATION

  • This position is a full-time salaried role with benefits outlined separately as a W2 employee. The primary job location is based from the HouseRight office in Lexington, KY.
